Pollinator management in Peru: Empowering species for a sustainable future

As part of Peru's international commitments, the country has formed a working group, the Ad Hoc Group on Pollinators, under the coordination of the Peruvian Amazon Research Institute (IIAP) and the Ministry of the Environment (MINAM), which includes various government agencies, NGOs, academia and the civil sector involved in the issue, to work in a coordinated manner on the conservation and sustainable use of pollinators.

The purpose of this event is to provide information on the activities, research and management projects that Peru has developed on pollinators and the ecosystem service of pollination.
