Join ‘The Animals’ Lawsuit Against Humanity’: The Play
Following the 2024 premiere in New York City, we are working with communities across the world to host your own version of the play version of The Animals' Lawsuit Against Humanity, bringing this incredible event to your community! This is your chance to showcase this 1,000-year-old Earth law fable, now in theatrical form.
In this story, animals sue humans for their mistreatment in the Court of the Djinn King. The story is both entertaining and insightful, with many parallels to today's animal rights and Earth law movements. Whether you're a school, local group, faith community, festival, or environmental organization, this event is perfect for you!
Want to do your own version of the play? Here is how it works:
You sign a simple contract/MOU then get a copy of the script.
We provide discussion points, including relevant Earth law campaigns across the world and history of the fable.
We ask that you announce the flagship version of the play to be held at Climate Week NYC in 2025 and also provide copies of the book to sell.
There are a handful of other acknowledgments to be made during the event.
Donation Structure
Suggested donation based on circumstances–from free to a sliding-scale flat fee or percent of ticket sales. We seek to ensure that it is affordable for anyone.
All donations also come with a consultation with author Anson Laytner, ELC, and Jack & Grace Productions about the history of the play, its significance, and production tips.
Donations support the 2025 flagship version of The Animals’ Lawsuit during Climate Week NYC, along with stipends for its proponents for their time and expertise. Some funds may support Earth law campaigns worldwide.
