Rights of Nature and Earth Law: An Introduction for the Roaring Fork Valley - April 1 @ 4pm (Register Here)
Join Earth Law Center (ELC) and friends for updates on the global movement to give Nature a voice and rights in the legal system. Imagine if rivers had the right to flow, with legal guardians serving as their human representatives. Or imagine if Nature had a seat on corporate boards, represented by trained proxies. This is becoming an emerging reality in Colorado and around the world.
Just last month, ELC and its partners Save the Colorado and Y On Earth Community toured the Roaring Fork Valley, hosting a series of events. Read all about it in The Aspen Times.
Amongst various topics, we explored possible regional Rights of Nature campaigns, as well as a possible local production of the 1,000-year-old eco fable The Animals' Lawsuit Against Humanity. This online gathering is another opportunity to engage, learn more, and ask questions. See you there!
